Imola Orsolya Benk\u0151 was born in 1979 in Timisoara. She graduated in Hungarian Theatre Studies at the University of Szeged. She works as the artistic director of the Homo Ludens Project, an independent theatre collective, and teaches directing practice and dramaturgy at the University of Szeged. I live in Sopron and Szeged. <\/p>\n
She started writing in 2020, participating in L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Szilasi’s creative writing workshop, J\u00e1nos Lackfi and Gergely P\u00e9terfy’s courses.
\nHe was an invited participant in the summer writing camp of the Contemporary Journal. For more than a year he was mentored by poet Tam\u00e1s Ijjas. <\/p>\n
She is a regular contributor, her poems and short stories have been published in Apokrif Online, \u00daj Forr\u00e1s Online, KULTer.hu, SZIFONline, Sz\u00f3fa, PRAE, B\u00e1rka, Sz\u00e9kelyf\u00f6ld, Irodalmi Jelen, Magyar Napl\u00f3, Helikon, Tiszat\u00e1j, Kort\u00e1rs, L\u00c1T\u00d3, Kalligram, N\u00e9pszabads\u00e1g, \u00c9let \u00e9s Irodalom, among others.
\nHis poems and short stories have been included in several anthologies, most recently his text Mack\u00f3sajt (Poetry and Cheese) was published in Az \u00e9v novell\u00e1i 2024.
