The magazine covers a different topic every month, and in addition to artists, the interviewees include a brain researcher, a beekeeping specialist, a camp chaplain, a space scientist and a dog trainer – these pages are an attempt to capture what the early twenties were all about. “Valuable and interesting – that’s our culture, that’s our life”, says the editor-in-chief of Hungarian Culture magazine.

In the freedom issue, they asked about the possibilities of dignity, walking tall, living tall. They also invoked the figure of Miklós Bánffy, who was born into one of the richest families in the country, but who also knew poverty. His life took a tragic turn, but all the while he himself was working for the betterment of the world.

To commemorate the 150th anniversary of the birth of Miklós Bánffy, the editor-in-chief will be in conversation with theatre historian Zsuzsa Szebeni and actor Balázs Bodolai on the stage of the book fair on Saturday, organised by the Petőfi Cultural Agency.

Since 2005, his short prose writings have appeared in the Cluj literary magazine Helikon, Székelyföld, Várad, Irodalmi Jelen, Cimbora, Előretolt Helyőrség and helyorseg.ma.
From 2021 he is the editor-in-chief of the Hungarian Culture magazine.
