He has designed and created graphic and typographic solutions for hundreds of books and book covers, as well as collector’s and individual photo albums for national and foreign publishers (Móra, Szépirodalmi, Europa, MOB, LEN, FINA, AB ART)
In his poems, he finds it difficult to turn the denials that had become natural by 1989 into yeses, as he writes. In addition to online journals (Kortárs, Kurázsi, Holdkatlan, Tiszatáj, Art7, Napút, Litera-Túra, ÚjNautilus, Kalamáris), his most recent works have been published in various anthologies, as well as in Szőrös Kő in Bratislava, Új Forrás in Tata, Fedél Nélkül, Parnasszus, AB ART Kiadó, Forrás in Kecskemét, and Élet és Irodalom.
In February 2021, Gondolat Publishers recorded a conversation with Mihály Bácskai about his book entitled The Sky Wronged in the course of an online book launch, and in March ÉS presented his graphics with illustrations for a whole issue.
