His poems have been translated into Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian, Slovenian, Macedonian, English, Arabic and Vietnamese. Attila Szabó Palócz translates mainly from the South Slavic languages – Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian, Montenegrin – but he also regularly translates literary works from English.
Several of Attila Szabó Palócz’s plays were presented by the Theatre of Novi Sad, the Dezső Kosztolányi Theatre and the Children’s Theatre in Odessa, the József Attila Theatre in Budapest, and various school groups and art lovers from Vojvodina. He has repeatedly indicated voice drama as his favourite genre, and his works have been recorded and broadcast by the drama editors of Radio Novi Sad.
He lives in Budapest and is the father of a grown-up daughter.
