Imre Lutter, Radnóti, Bánffy and Gyula Wlassics Prize winner, he is a poet, poetry performer, presenter and producer.
He is the voice and presenter of ATV, ATV Spirit and Spirit FM, president of the Hungarian Poetry Singers Association and the Latinovits Memorial Foundation, director of the Kaleidoscope Poetry Festival and the Bujtor István Film Festival, and organizer of the Radnóti Biennale. His poetry was first published in the book “Lételem” (Parnassus Books), followed by the Triangulum (Szülőföld Publishing House) and the Body and Consciousness (Atheaneum). He has produced 31 books and anthologies. His literary talk show, Between the Lines, a collection of his poetry conversations with Imre Lutter, is published in the volume If you love… (Athenaeum), the sequel of which will be on the shelves in 2025. He is assisted in his poetry by István Turczi, Tibor Zalán and László Devecsery. Turczi describes it as follows. And Tibor Zalán writes of him: ‘Lutter allows himself to be an “occasional poet” in the sense that he writes when, about and in the way that his momentary address demands. With a lucky hand and heart, he renews a family poetry that is now slowly being forgotten. But he eschews idyll and dares to tell of the ageing and caring of body and relationship; he treats and depicts the second love after the passing of love with Radnótian delicacy and precision – from soul to soul. This is definitely a poetic nova in the first quarter of the twenty-first century! Just as the spousal grumbling is a new element in Hungarian poetry – the dilemma and insolubility of the impossibility of living together.”
