Member of the Sun Road Circle, editor of the Sun Road magazine (VoltJelen column). Series editor of the Sunpath Publishing House’s “Our Past” series. He has published ten volumes of poetry, short stories, literary translations, scientific and educational monographs. He is the translator of the Kyrgyz epic poem Manas. In 2015 he was awarded the Sándor Kőrösi Csoma Memorial Medal. Winner of the National Film Fund’s 2018 competition for historical feature film screenwriters. His historical short feature film Freedom, Struggle, made in 2019, was screened by MTVA and several cinemas. He has made two dozen documentaries on his ethnological research for Duna Television. He has conducted fieldwork (religious anthropology, ethnicity research and art anthropology) in Szeklerland, Vojvodina, Northern Pakistan, India, Nepal, Russia, China, Mongolia, Indonesia, Japan, Macedonia, Scandinavia and the Sahara.
