István Benyhe

Geographer, Hispanist, former State Secretary and cultural diplomat in Madrid. His public interests and research have been summarised in several independent volumes.

His poems are philosophical, while his short stories are mostly historically inspired. He has published numerous small studies and short stories. He has translated major Spanish authors (Borges, Quiroga), and his poetry translations (G. Lorca, C. Coronado, C. Janés, Jang Lian) are also faithful to form.
