He lives in Mako. He worked as a teacher of Hungarian, Russian, German and library.

He started writing at the age of fifty-three. His poems, short stories, dramatic pantomimes, poetry interviews, book interviews have been published in numerous prominent Hungarian journals in Hungary and abroad (Serbian, Slovakian, Romanian), including 2000, Ambroozia, Forwarded Outpost, Life and Literature, Outpost.hu, HÍD, Irodalmi Jelen, Irodalmi Szemle, Kalligram, KULTer.hu, Magyar Napló, Műhely, Műút, Prae, Spanyolnátha, Tiszatáj.
2020-from 2020, member of the Society of Writers and the Hungarian Writers’ Union.

Two gap-filling awards were established in 2018 and 2023. The Ernő Osvát Prize is awarded to editors of journals, while the Senior Auctor Prize is awarded to fiction writers starting their careers after the age of 50.
