Elga Sárközy

He studied theatre and was a classmate of Péter Molnár Gál. He was at home among actors, filmmakers, writers and musicians.

He has translated many works of fiction and non-fiction, including works by Christiane Ritter, Anna Seghers, David Attenborough, Erich Kästner, Jurek Becker, Manfred Bieler, Beat Brechbühl, Marcel Aymé, Graham Greene, Jack London, Friedrich Dürrenmatt, Aldous Huxley, H. G. Wells, Georges Simenon, Mario Soldati, G. K. Chesterton, Richard Hughes, James Thurber, Moravia, Ernst W. Heine, Hemingway, W. Somerset Maugham, etc.
