László Bárdos

From 1978 until his death, he was a research fellow at the Department of Modern Hungarian Literary History at the ELTE BTK, and from 1997 he was an associate professor.

Between 1969 and 1973 he studied French at the Erzsébet Szilágyi High School in Budapest. Between 1973 and 1978 he studied Hungarian-French and Comparative Literary History at the Faculty of Humanities of Eötvös Loránd University. From 1978 until his death, he was a research fellow at the Department of Modern Hungarian Literary History at the ELTE BTK, and from 1997 he was an associate professor. He was a member of the Hungarian Writers’ Association from 1988 to 2004.
