He graduated from the University of Szeged in 1976 with a degree in Hungarian and English. In the same year he became a journalist, working as a film, literature and theatre critic in the cultural section of Délmagyarország, and later as a publicist he became a senior editor. In early 1992, he was invited by Sándor Csoóri to work for the newspaper of the World Federation of Hungarians in Budapest.From early 1994 to the end of 2009, he was editor of Duna Television, and the creator of several successful documentaries. From 2012 to 2013, he will be a contract staff member of the Magyar Hírlap. His books have been published since spring 1990. He first wrote historical essays and documentary prose on the historical white spots of the recent past, and later essays and sociographies, short stories and novels.
has also published several volumes, five sociographies, three essays and a collection of short stories. He has published 44 books to date.
He is a regular contributor to Magyar Nemzet and several literary journals.
