László Imre Horváth

I was born in 1981. I graduated from the Faculty of Humanities of Pázmány Péter Catholic University in Hungarian History.

Since 2007 I have published poetry and prose in literary journals, six novels and three poetry collections.
Since 2017 I have been a mentor-teacher and editor of the KMTG Advanced Outpost Writers’ Academy.
In 2019-2021 I was the host of the monthly literary show Kortársak musikali accompaniment (Contemporary with Music), a joint production of the A38 ship and the Petőfi Literary Museum.
2022-In 2022 my work was awarded with the Attila József Prize.
For the period 2022-2025 I was awarded an MMA grant for fiction writing to write my seventh novel about Miklós Radnóti, which I am currently working on.
I live in Pilisszentiván, have two children, and besides my literary activities I am a primary school Hungarian history teacher at the Nagykovácsi Kisiskola.
